Our Mission
Our mission is to provide multiple college scholarship awards for athletes who have fought the battle of cancer and
for ones who have had parents who have fought the battle.
Monetary gifts to our Inspiration Award winners. Honor
special athletes by placing their stories with photos on our web site. Raise money for Neuroblastoma, a very common
but deadly childhood cancer. Our extended program provides college scholarships for students who are not athletes
but who have had a parent who has fought the battle of cancer. Our program is unique because we do also help athletes
and students who have had a parent who has fought the battle of cancer, as there are limited programs for
these amazing young people.
I am also pleased to announce the implementation of a new scholarship program for us
called Students Of Survivors. This program will award a scholarship to a senior High School
non athletic student who has a parent who has survived cancer sometime during that student's
four years of High School
. There are many scholarships out there for students who have had
cancer or who have had a parent to die from cancer but not much for students of survivors. I saw
the need and thus created our S.O.S. College Scholarship Award.
Students do not have to prove
a financial need because that is a given but they do have to meet other criteria.

Song Playing: Dare You To Move So many times when we hear that cancer diagnoses our world stops and
all we want to do is crawl in a hole and feel sorry for ourselves. If that's you,
then you need to hear this song. It will inspire you to get up and fight back!
I "Dare You To Move" like today never happened!

Regarding The Habitat for Humanity Tour
Featuring: Switchfoot......Third Day......Robert Randolph and the Family Band......Jars of Clay
My son, Rob and I attended the concert in Alabama, September 18, 2008
It was absolutely phenomenal!
We had second row seats. At one point, Jon came out into the audience and when Rob went to give him a high five, Jon grabbed his hand and said, "Keep singing, man! Keep singing!," as, of course, Rob was singing along just like everyone else but then, Jon also gave him a big hug! Cool! Rob has learned to play and sing many of their songs so he's a major fan. We then, got to attend the meet and greet. The band was very personable, friendly, easy to talk to and very appreciative of each and every fan. I could not be more impressed with this band from their stage show to their personal characters. This is a night my son and I will never forget and we will definitely attend future concerts. As I told Jon, during the meet and greet, their songs are so meaningful and important and they are making a difference in this world to so many people.
We want to help spread that around.
They have our support!
