Our Mission
Our mission is to provide college scholarships for Senior High School Athletes who have fought the battle of cancer and who plan to continue playing their sport for college. It is our goal to be able to provide one Champion Of Life College Scholarship Award per state including all 50 United States. We also give gifts and monetary awards to our Inspiration Award winners and our Athletes Of The Month. In the near future we will be holding marathons to help fight for the cure of Neuroblastoma, a very common childhood cancer for which there is no cure. Athletes Kickin’ Cancer, Inc. is a 501 (C)(3) Non Profit established in the state of Alabama. Criteria for the scholarship winners may be found on the web site at www.AthletesKickinCancer.com.
Students Of Survivors, Inc. 501 (C)(3) is another one of our schloarship programs. It is also open to all 50 United States. This program will give it’s S.O.S. College Scholarship Award to a studen who has a parent who has fought the battle of cancer at some point during the students high school years. There will be a special gift basket provided for the parent and a trip provided for the entire immediate family. There are many scholarships provided for students who have lost a parent to cancer but not much help for those with surviving parents. We recognize the financial burden is great for those who survive even if the family does have insurance. More details may be found at www.StudentsOfSurvivors.org.
