Our Mission

Our Non Profit organization provides a college scholarship annually for a High School

athlete. These athletes have either fought the battle of cancer or have a parent who has fought the

battle. We also honor athletes who have been named on our Athlete of the Month page

by posting their inspiring stories.  We are presently raising money to provide gifts or trips for these

honored athletes and their families. Please click the red button under my picture to find out what inspired me
to launch this program and web site. Please visit our Shop Shack.org store.

This store was created, in part, to help support this program and others, as well.

Thank you for your support!

Patricia Lee, Founder-CEO

*In Loving Memory of Christy Wall, Mother of our very first Athlete Of The Month, Jessica Wall.
Christy passed away Tue., Nov. 18th. She was a loving, caring, strong, inspiring Christian woman who
was admired by all. Jess holds a special place in our hearts, as she and my daughter, Alex Avram, are best

friends. You may read about Jess and her Mom by clicking on our Athlete Of The Month page and clicking

on "archives." Jess, we love you and your family and are here for you always.

LOVE THESE GUYS!
All of their songs hold important messages so listen with an open mind and learn
Song Playing: This Is Your Life ...."are you who you wanna be?"
So many times when we are diagnosed with cancer one the first things we stop to think
about is what have we done with our lives? This song reminds us that we all do still have today and it
is never too late to be who you want to be. I hope you will ponder that question as you
listen to this song.  If there is something undone in your life then get out there and make it happen!
Tomorrow is dead and gone... move on!

Regarding The Habitat for Humanity Tour
Featuring: Switchfoot......Third Day......Robert Randolph and the Family Band......Jars of Clay

My son, Rob and I attended the concert in Alabama, September 18, 2008

It was absolutely phenomenal!

We had second row seats.  At one point, Jon came out into the audience and when Rob went to give him a high five, Jon grabbed his hand and said, "Keep singing, man! Keep singing!," as, of course, Rob was singing along just like everyone else but then, Jon also gave him a big hug!  Cool! Rob has learned to play and sing many of their songs so he's a major fan.  We then, got to attend the meet and greet.  The band was very personable, friendly, easy to talk to and very appreciative of each and every fan.  I could not be more impressed with this band from their stage show to their personal characters.  This is a night my son and I will never forget and we will definitely attend future concerts.  As I told Jon, during the meet and greet, their songs are so meaningful and important and they are making a difference in this world to so many people.

We want to help spread that around.
They have our support!
